Together with Fabian Frommelt (CeMM) and collaborators from the Gstaiger, Aebersold, and Wollscheid groups at ETH Zurich, we developed DIP-MS (Deep-Interaction Proteomics by Mass Spectrometry).

DIP-MS integrates affinity purification (AP-MS) with co-fractionation mass spectrometry (CF-MS) to capture both stable and transient protein interactions across cell states. This hybrid approach enables ultra-deep mapping of protein complexes, bridging targeted and global interactomics.

Published in Nature Methods, this work lays the foundation for comprehensive and quantitative complexome analysis, enhancing our ability to model cellular organization at scale.
