Together with Christian Giske, Anni-Maria Ornala Tiznado and Vicente Pelechano, our group has been awarded a KI Research Network Grant to establish and support PHATE — the Phage Therapy Network at KI.

PHATE brings together researchers studying bacteriophages, antimicrobial resistance, and phage-based interventions, connecting basic molecular microbiology with translational and clinical research.
The network aims to strengthen Sweden’s position in phage research through collaborative projects, national workshops and joint training activities, building bridges between academic groups, hospitals and industry partners.
